I’m 19 in a weeks’ time and i still get breakouts every now and again. It seems like every time I get a break out I get another scar. I have two big acne scars on my face now and some girls have started acting awkward around me so I guess it’s that. I hear girls insulting me about it behind my back and even when I’m just across the room. All of my friend’s acne stopped when they were about 17 if they had it. What can I do about this acne and scarring?
I’ve lost confidence talking to people because there eyes just drift towards the scar under my eye then they look anywhere but me 
I’ve heard there are different treatments out there for acne scars but I haven’t found anything that seems to be the answer yet.

I am 16yrs old and I have acne that I am currently treating it with benzaclin and a antibiotic and it is clearing up pretty good, but I was wondering what I could do to help reduce or get rid of acne scars.

My dermatologist recommended microderm abrasion to help fix my skin, but seeing as the acne scars aren’t really all that bad, I was wondering if I really need to go to that length.
In case you were wondering, dermabrasion is a scar treatment where the acne scars are removed by using an abrading tool. This leads to fresh tissue being exposed, which on healing forms a new skin on the wound. I’m not sure if it will help me get rid of acne scars, but it may be worth a try.
Microdermabrasion is similar to dermabrasion but instead of using an abrading tool, a suction tool in combination with a rough tool or crystal blasting tool is used.
I’ve heard the home kits don’t work as well as actually going in and seeing the doctor, however that of course can get pricey. I really want to get rid of acne scars – can anyone help?
